cycling: Germany Cup #2: Schweizer secures victory in Lohne

21 October 2013 by the editorial office

The Hamburg Stevens Racing Team is currently doing well in the Germany Cup. After Ole Quast won the opening event in the Hanseatic city, he had to settle for second place this time. However, victory remained for the team in Lohne, because a Stevens driver, Michael Schweizer, also won. Behind the two who made up the sprint win, Dutchman Jordy Luisman finished third, six seconds back. Quast was able to keep his lead in the overall standings.

A driver from the Stevens team also won the women's race. Lisa Heckmann clearly won ahead of the Stevens 1a cross team duo Susanne Juranek and Liv-Susanne Bachmann. Heckmann also took the lead in the overall standings.
