The Langkawi MTB Challenge enters its final rounds. The final stage will be held tomorrow, Saturday, in the form of a 30-minute sprint race. The past marathon stages brought a few surprises including a change in leadership. After Thomas Giger and Lea Davison won the second day, there was a double victory for the Specialized team on the third day. Kohei Yamamoto and Lea Davison triumphed on the 45-kilometer stage. So Davison celebrated her second stage win after her big blunder on the first stage. Davison and Yamamoto also took the lead in the Langkawi MTB Challenge overall standings.
From a German point of view, Adelheid Morath is in a good third place among the women, just ahead of Eva Lechner from South Tyrol.
