Fabian Cancellara has racked up a host of significant victories, including Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders, and placements since the Trek Domane was launched. No wonder, since the frame set was originally developed together with the Swiss to meet his requirements for the classics.
As part of the Project One program, everyone can now enjoy this classic machine, previously reserved for professionals. The Domane Classics Edition features the so-called Pro Endurance Geometry . This is characterized by a low head tube and a longer wheelbase. This is intended to guarantee both comfort and agility. Another special feature of the frame is the increased tire clearance.
“I think it’s pretty cool that Trek is now offering my bike to everyone,” Cancellara said enthusiastically. “For me, this bike is something very special. Together with Trek, I invested a lot of time in developing the Domane.”
The Domane Classics Edition attracted attention during its presentation ahead of the 2012 Tour of Flanders, primarily due to its IsoSpeed technology. This technology splits the frame at the seat tube, designed to reduce unpleasant shocks to the pelvis. The bike will be available in frame sizes from 54 to 62 centimeters, but only as a complete build.
