Charles Schumann, known as a model for brands such as Boss, Baldessarini and Campari, is supporting the this year Giant Charity Initiative. Shortly before Christmas, Schumann signed one of the new Giants in Munich AnyRoad, which will be auctioned next year to the highest bidder for the 2.500 boys in Germany suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The bicycle manufacturer Giant has been supporting the initiative of boys with DMD in Germany since 2004 with the help of numerous celebrities from the sports and cultural sectors. Previous supporters include DFB captain Philipp Lahm, actress Senta Berger and the music band Sportfreunde Stiller.
