components: Selle Italia Flite Giro d'Italia: Fight for Pink!

The Sell Italia flite is undoubtedly the classic among sports saddles. Countless generations have already looked at models of the fliteseries and certainly got lost in heroic fantasies at one point or another. With the Tour of Italy-Special edition of the saddle is no different.

Like its model brothers, the special edition also has a narrow nose. The seat is relatively wide - if you follow Selle Italia's own system, the saddle is listed under the idMatch L1 category - and is intended to guarantee good comfort. The thin padding should also take care of this. Decorated with a Tour of Italy pink, the cover is made of soft yet durable Lorica leather.

The special edition of flite hardly weighs a slim 220 grams. The construction of the saddle shell is responsible for this. This is made of a composite material with carbon fibers, the struts are made of titanium. No question that flite is an athlete. And that through and through. With its flat surface and slightly sloping nose, it is particularly suitable for drivers who have a large pelvis, but sit relatively still on the saddle when riding.

Conclusion

The Sell Italia Flite Giro d'Italia literally screams for use on the race track. He is definitely predestined for this. Thanks to its low weight and high-quality workmanship, it undoubtedly lives up to the reputation of the Flite model series. Although the graphics may put some people off, true fans of the Tour of Italy should hear their hearts beat faster.
