Next year, the Specialized Sram Enduro Series (SSES) will enter its third season. Thus, the national series has been around since the beginning and laid the foundation for today's German enduro sport. With initiators such as Georg Grogger, Uwe Buchholz and Matthias Faber, the SSES has an almost unbelievably large starting field for every event. In the coming season, too, we are going to the events with great commitment and so the racing calendar for 2014 was published before the new year.
Six races in three different countries will ensure exciting duels in the new season. In addition to established organizers, there are also two new locations in the racing calendar. Right at the beginning of the series you start on unknown terrain. The small community of Trelago in South Tyrol will give the starting signal for the Specialized Sram Enduro Series. The following races lead the starting field from the MTB Mecca Riva del Garda via Samerberg and Willingen finally to Kirchberg and Leogang. Leogang in particular is well known from the past few years, the MTB World Cup is a permanent guest here. With the SSES, there will for the first time be a pure enduro event in the diverse Leoganger Steinberge.
