cycling: Arctic Race of Norway with stage destination at North Cape

The Arctic Race of Noway, a four-day tour north of the Arctic Circle, was held for the first time last August. The Norwegian Thor Hushovd (BMC) won the overall ranking and Nikias Arndt (Giant-Shimano) won his first professional race on the third stage.

Also this year, the tour will lead through the north of Norway from August 14th and celebrate another premiere. For the first time in the history of cycling, a race will be decided at the North Cape. At the prominent point on the The island of Magerøya will end the first leg of the tour. The next day the race will probably lead towards Tromsø. The organizers around the organizer of the Tour de France, the ASO, will announce the exact course of the stage in Oslo in May.
