The Chemnitz power meter manufacturer Power2Max dares to jump into the WorldTour of road pros. From now on, the Saxon company will be the Spanish team Movistar around the stars Alejandro Valverde and Nairo Quintana, but also the German Jasha Sütterlin with the new Power2Max S-type equip.

The S-type has an automatic zeroing and is also temperature resistant. Thanks to the external battery compartment, it is also easy to maintain.

The exciting thing about this collaboration is that Power2Max is combining its power meters with cranks from the traditional Italian company Campagnolo for the first time. Such a combination was not previously available. According to our information, however, they are working on a solution that should also make passionate Campagnolo fans happy. When and if a corresponding version will come onto the market is not yet known.

The Spanish Movistar team will use the power meter in conjunction with 11-speed great record-Insert cranks. "Monitoring the watt values plays an important role both in training and in the race", says Eusebio Unzué, manager of the Movistar team. “Precise records are the be-all and end-all. Power2Max is the right partner for this. The devices are extremely easy to use and guarantee detailed recording.”  The Movistar team will have versions for both standard and compact cranks.
