cycling: Yeti Cycles focuses on Enduro

21 January 2014 by Rick Schubert

yeti1

The American bike manufacturer Yeti Cycles is known for its great commitment to the Downhill World Cup. Although they were never one of the biggest teams, they can look back on a long list of successes. The brand is particularly good at discovering new talent. This is how downhill star Aaron Gwin started his career on bikes from Colorado. The team's current superstar is the undisputed Australian Jared Graves. Graves and Yeti have a very close and above all long relationship. Graves was able to celebrate a number of successes with Yeti, but also had to accept many setbacks. Graves has been focusing exclusively on enduro sport for the last year and he has also had great success here right from the start. With the increasing attention, Yeti wants to focus entirely on this discipline in the coming season.

EWS6-1

That's how Graves and teammate Richie Rude, the 2013 Downhill Junior World Champion, make up the Yeti Cycles Enduro Team. Both riders are big caliber riders and while Rude will be making his debut in the Enduro World Series, Graves will be looking to make up for missing out on last season's overall win.
