cycling: Zdenek Stybar starts at the Cyclocross World Championships in Hoogerheide

30 January 2014 by the editorial office

stybar

It had already been indicated during the week. After the name of the two-time Cyclocross World Champion Zdenek Stybar already appeared on the starting list of the Cyclocross World Championships next weekend in Hoogerheide, the Czech officially confirmed his participation today.

"I feel good", the Czech said to the online portal cyclingnews.com. Stybar traveled directly from the training camp in Mallorca. There he had prepared for his season in the past few days and, among other things, also completed a few intervals. In Hoogerheide he especially praised the track, but warned that it would be difficult due to the rain during the week and the race would be tough as a result.

With Stybar at the start, the world title fight has one more attraction, because anyone who knows the Czech knows about his aggressive driving style. He has already won a race this winter. An exciting competition is therefore inevitable.
