Kleinmachnower Philipp Walsleben (BKCP-Powerplus) is the legitimate successor to German cyclocross greats Mike Kluge, Hans-Peter Thaler and Rolf Wolfshohl. In Germany he is almost unrivaled, as the German championship in Döhlau showed, where he distanced the other drivers by more than a minute. And Walsleben, the 23 U2009 World Champion, also made an international breakthrough this winter. He was able to get on the podium in four World Cups and even if he was denied a win in the end, second place in the overall ranking is worthy of all honor.

Walsleben is traveling on a Colnago Prestige Limited made of carbon. The straight-forward Italian is equipped with the current Dura-Ace 9070 Di2 from Shimano, with the battery mounted below the bottle cage mount on the down tube. As one of the few riders in the cyclocross field, Walsleben can also look forward to a crank set from the same group. Blades with a gear ratio of 46 to 39 teeth are mounted on these.

The wheels also come from the Japanese Sakai. Here the Kleinmachnower usually trusts in the Dura Ace C35, which, in addition to their low weight, also have excellent running properties. The same applies to the glued-on Dugast tubular tires. Like many other top pros, Wlasleben controls his speed with TRP's Revox cantilever brakes. Their arms are made of carbon.

Apart from the tires and the brakes, you can see that the team of the reigning German champions, BKCP-Powerplus, are equipped by Shimano, after all, that's where they come from Turnix-Saddle from the subsidiary PRO. The 42 centimeter wide also comes from Pro Vibehandlebars and the 110 millimeter long Vibe-Stem. With this equipment, the bike weighs 7,7 kilograms.
