As the ASO announced today, a women's race will be held on the Champs-Élysées on July 27th. What makes it special is that the race will take place immediately before the final stage of the Tour de France. Reigning Olympic and World Champion Marianne Vos was particularly delighted with this development, calling the race "revolutionary".
More precise details are not yet available. However, the ASO plans to release a schedule for the race, titled La Course by Le Tour de France, in the spring.
