Product news: Tacx Spider Team: assembly stand - light, handy, new

February 18, 2014 by Marcus Degen

Tacx_1The new Spider Team is an assembly stand that is impressive. It not only cuts a fine figure as a functional helper when screwing, but also as a presentation stand for a great bike.

It sets new standards in terms of both design and functionality. During a visit to Tacx in Vasenaar, we were able to get a taste of the development of the Spider - it was very impressive to see how small components are created with the help of a 3D printer and how the entire production takes place on site - none of the components come from the Far East , all Made in Holland.

Tacx_3The new Spider Team is made of aluminium, which makes it very light: only 4,25 kilos. The work surface can be turned and, more recently, also tilted, which means that the bike can also be placed horizontally. Also very practical: the tool tray is removable and can be attached anywhere you like.

Tacx_2When folded up small, the Spider Team is extremely handy and takes up little more space than a floor pump.
