cycling: Telenet-Fidea interested in Francis Mourey

February 18rd 2014 by the editorial office

The season is hardly over when planning for the coming year begins. An exciting personality is that of the Frenchman Francis Mourey. During the season, the winner of the World Cup in Namur and second from Nommay pointed out that the organizers in Belgium often overlook him when it comes to invitations.

Hans van Kasteren, manager of the team Telenet-Fidea would like to change this now. "I made him an offer because I want to see him drive more in Belgium." Mourey, who has been with FDJ.fr since he turned pro, has not yet responded to the request. And the decision shouldn't be easy for him, as the Frenchman is also successful on the road. In 2013, among other things, he was able to win the race Tro Bro Leon decide for yourself.

The multiple French cyclocross champion is not the only rider that Telenet-Fidea would like to sign. Last autumn, Van Kasteren made a lucrative offer to the reigning world champion Zdenek Stybar (Omega Pharma-QuickStep).
