Product news: Rock Shox Paragon: New urban suspension fork

March 5, 2014 by the editorial office

rockshox1The American chassis manufacturer Rock Shox has a long and, above all, successful history in mountain biking. With the Pike released last year, new standards were set in terms of precision and comfort. Now Rock Shox has put all the knowledge from 25 years of development and research into the new urban suspension fork Paragon flow in. Because you want to be able to offer the driver as much functionality and comfort as possible on the way to work or on the weekly trip to the country. So they developed a light and durable suspension fork that should be able to cope with the demands of city traffic.

The heart of the new Rock Shox Paragon lies in its ability to take the edge of the road and trails, transmitting less vibration to the rider. With the light, continuously adjustable Solo Air-Spring system allows every rider to fine-tune the fork according to their personal preferences. To save energy, the proven remote lever for the handlebars is also available, which can be used to completely block the fork. Another special feature is the slim integration of the cables leading to the hub dynamo, which should be unobtrusively attached to the fork. There is also an attachment for the front light integrated in the fork bridge, so that further attachment material is a thing of the past.

The price of the new Paragon amounts to 225 euros.
