Sram's President Stan Day gave another video update today regarding troubleshooting on the first series of hydraulic road bike brakes. Accordingly, the problem, which only seemed to occur at sub-zero temperatures, was due to a production error.
Last November, SRAM recalled 19.000 brakes from its Red and S-700 series . The new series are said to have improved manufacturing tolerances for individual brake components. According to SRAM, the new models will be available from mid-April.
