Product news: Northwave presents its own helmet collection

11 April 2014 by the editorial office

north wave

The Italian shoe and clothing specialist Northwave is presenting its own helmet collection for the first time in its history. Four different models for use on racing bikes and mountain bikes will be available in stores from April. The Italian cycling brand is thus taking the last step on the way to its declared goal of offering cycling equipment and clothing from head to toe.

The new helmets are all made from Hi-EPS material using the in-mold process. Thanks to a variable closure system, the helmets should adapt to almost any head shape in no time at all. Even in cool temperatures: The closure system is designed in such a way that adjustments for the right fit can also be carried out without any problems when wearing gloves.
Northwave sends the new helmets out onto the track with the patented Air Ventilation System (AVS) for high wearing comfort: Fresh air penetrates from the outside in under the helmet, is directed around the head and ensures cooling there. As a result, sweat dries faster under the helmet and there is no heat build-up.

The background to the development of our own line of helmets at Northwave is the claim to produce first-class equipment for cyclists. Safety should by no means be neglected. In addition, design also plays a decisive role: With the inclusion of the helmets in the product portfolio, the Italians have taken another step towards the total look. From head to toe, the cyclist can be equipped with in-house products in matching colors and matching designs.

The helmets are available with and without a visor and in a wide range of colors at the suggested retail price of 99,99 and 129,99 euros respectively.
