Product news: Rock Shox DebonAir: More air for better performance

3 April 2014 by the editorial office

With the damper models Monrach RT3 and MonarchPlus Rock Shox has two of the most commonly installed suspension elements on the market. In addition to the models already available, one is now available for more performance DebonAir-Variant on. This is characterized by a larger positive and negative air chamber. The force required to compress the damper should drop by 30 percent and the spring curve should be much more linear. With this new feature, the damper should react better to small bumps and also be able to offer more traction. Above all it is optical DebonAir-Varainte a real eye-catcher. The black sliding piston has been optically adapted to the new Pike and impresses with its understatement.

The DebonAir-Varainte aims to fill the gap between MonarchPlus and the downhill-oriented VividAir close. If you don't want to buy a new damper right away, you can purchase a retrofit kit for just under 100 euros. This is compatible for all 2014 models Monarch models and the Monarch RT3 from the 2013 vintage.
