Cycling: The story of Lance Armstrong is enriched by a chapter. The American has now been sentenced by a court to testify under oath.
The background to the decision is the lawsuit brought by the insurance company SCA. This had once paid Armstrong an amount in the millions - for three of his now denied victories in the Tour de France. The company is seeking a total of $12 million back from the Texan.
Armstrong is scheduled to explain via video under oath on June 12 how he doped during the three contested victories. However, it is still unclear whether he will ultimately have to do this. The fallen Radstar points out in a statement that he has already reached an agreement with SCA. Since this agreement is binding, according to Armstrong, the Supreme Court of Texas should now intervene and avert the decision.
