They are now attempting to fully address this with the Rox 10.0 GPS . To put the device through its paces, we conducted a test together with the Stuttgart team. At first glance, the Rox 10.0 GPS appears somewhat taller compared to other Sigma Sport models. However, considering the device's range of functions, this impression quickly fades.
The package includes the device itself, a mount, a cadence sensor, and a speed sensor. A chest strap for measuring heart rate is also included with the Rox 10.0 GPS.

Sigma Sport has done an excellent job with the ANT+ sensor pairing. The parameters are displayed on the device much faster than with comparable products from other manufacturers. This means nothing stands in the way of training. Power meters also combine well with the Rox 10.0 , although we needed a little practice to calibrate it correctly when using the Garmin Vector .
The buttons can be operated without gloves. If long-fingered gloves are used, a little more key pressure would be desirable. Apart from that, there have been no problems on the bike so far.
The evaluation of the trip via computer is carried out using the supplied software, which was a bit unwieldy at the beginning of the test, but now works well. The transfer is extremely fast and the files are easily exported in popular formats to feed platforms like Golden Cheata, Strave, etc. The Sigma Data Center does not give the same feedback as these, but it still offers enough filter options for everyday use.
Last week we received an invitation to the Tour of Bavaria. This year, the race includes a section at the Winkelmoos-Alm. We've already had a chance to look at the stage, thanks in part to the Rox 10.0 . The stage route loaded onto the device in just three minutes. A particularly useful feature when viewing planned routes is the ability to display the elevation profile. This function is also helpful for race strategy, as it allows you to always know how much longer you have to push yourself.
At the beginning of our test use, there were problems with the mount. During the Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen we lost five devices on the pavement. However, Sigma Sport has now taken on this problem and has been offering a new bracket for a few weeks, which proves much more bite.
Also helpful is the factory-set five-second memory interval, which proves useful during training. While the memory capacity might seem a bit confusing at first glance, it depends on the length of the selected interval. This can be easily changed in the menu from five to 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 30 seconds. Depending on the selected interval, the memory capacity varies, with the Rox 10.0 always displaying the remaining time.
Conclusion
The Rox 10.0 's housing is robust and withstands even adverse weather conditions. The battery allows for up to four days of training recordings before the device needs recharging. All in all, the Sigma Sport Rox 10.0 earns a positive review. The GPS capability and the associated display of route data are particularly impressive in this small but functional marvel. These features make the computer a top-tier all-rounder.
