So it's no wonder that Campagnolo is now also introducing the new versions of the groupsets Athena and Veloce presents. The new groupsets feature a more ergonomic shifter in the style of the EPS up, making the Ergopower even more ergonomic and user-friendly than ever before. Comprehensive drive control from any position is now even easier with a lever layout that is based on the EPS, on both the right and left side. This easy-to-use shifter with a lower profile was made possible thanks to the shorter shift travel required to operate the Athena and Veloce drivetrains.
Retained in their 2015 versions Athena and Veloce all of their signature performance characteristics and unbeatable, high-quality Campagnolo construction that have made them so reliable in the past. They also exude a whiff as a result of the incorporation of this new versatile shifter positioning Hi-end prestige.
The newly developed SC-14 sprockets were developed to optimize shifting performance for professional racing. Initially, this technology was only available on the Super Record RS group. This technological advantage has now found its way into the Athena drive system.
