It's no surprise, then, that Campagnolo is now presenting the new versions of its Athena and Veloce groupsets . The new groupsets feature a more ergonomic shift lever in the style of the EPS , making the Ergopower even more ergonomic and user-friendly than ever before. Comprehensive drivetrain control from any position is now even easier with a lever layout based on the EPS, on both the right and left sides. Thanks to the shorter shift throws required for the Athena and Veloce drivetrains, this easy-to-use, lower-profile shift lever was made possible.
In their 2015 versions, Athena and Veloce retain all their characteristic performance features and their unbeatable, high-quality Campagnolo construction that has made them so reliable in the past. Furthermore, they exude a touch of high-end prestige thanks to the integration of this new, versatile shift lever positioning.
The newly developed SC-14 sprockets were developed to optimize shifting performance for professional racing. Initially, this technology was only available on the Super Record RS group. This technological advantage has now found its way into the Athena drive system.
