cycling: Challenge Kraichgau: Kienle and Gajer in front

June 15, 2014 by the editorial office

Triathlon: The Challenge Kraichgau also chose the German champions over the middle distance this year. In the end, Sebastian Kienle and Julia Gajer were happy.

Ironman 70.3 World Champion Kienle needed 3:53:27 hours for the race and thus clearly beat second-placed Timo Bracht. In the end he was almost six minutes behind Kienle. He had caught a large part of it on the bike. Timo Bracht followed closely behind in third place.

Among the women, Gajer was not quite as dominant. She was still able to defend her title from the previous year. She needed 4:27:35 hours for the race. Barely twenty seconds behind, Gina Crawford followed in second. Third was Yvonne van Vlerken.
