Cycling: Scot David Millar (Garmin-Sharp) shouldn't have much to smile about at the moment. While he was in France attending the Critérium du Dauphiné, thieves stole a variety of valuables from his home in Girona.

Millar, who will retire at the end of the year, lost several mementos of his career as a result of the slump. He expressed his anger on Twitter: "Not nice to come home from the Dauphiné and see that the house has been emptied."

In addition to career souvenirs, the thieves also stole technical equipment and rare watches. The local police are investigating the case.
