June 18, 2014 by the editorial office

Market: Yesterday we gave you GT's new racing bike Grade presented, today we're going to push that helion after - an XC fully that should above all inspire nature lovers.

The GT helion is built for quality time on the mountain and is intended to be the perfect companion for full-day excursions or for a weekend filled with racing over rough and steep terrain.

"The Helion is designed for the mountain biker who is interested in a lightweight yet strong XC bike", comments developer Tim Inall. "This bike has a confidence-inspiring handling that guarantees the rider lots of fun and a great time on their bike."

The helion is equipped with GT's most efficient pedal system, the TO-Suspension system that decouples the drive from the suspension and directs pedal forces into forward motion. In addition, the Helion uses the new expanding LOCKR-Axle system that allows for a simpler axle, a lighter axle assembly and ultimately a lighter wheel.
