components: Prologo One Touch handlebar tape: Reliably comfortable

June 4, 2014 by the editorial office

prologue1

Test: There are only a few points of contact between the rider and the bike that are constantly in view and can be felt immediately. The handlebar is one of them. Pleasant when it is comfortable and offers driving comfort. The handlebar tape on the racing bike usually takes care of this.

Prologo's eye-catching handlebar tapes are becoming more and more common in the professional peloton. One reason to take a closer look at the handlebar tape.

Practice

Prologo offers the strap in various colors so that everyone can find their favorite color and not only visually enhance their bike. As soon as you assemble it, you notice that it is extremely easy to wrap and that it puts you in a particularly good mood.

prologue2

Upon first contact with the Prologo One Touch you feel unbelievably comfortable even without gloves and don't want to get off your bike at all. Although the handlebar tape has been wrapped very tightly, it is extremely comfortable and can withstand some hard hits.

Thanks to the slightly nubbed structure, every town sign sprint can be easily ridden, even with heavily sweaty hands. After more than 800 kilometers in the test, the handlebar tape fits like it did on the first day and looks like new.

Conclusion

The prologue One Touch offers the rider noticeably more control over the bike. Due to the excellent comfort properties, the band is particularly recommended for marathonists, but also for cyclocrossers, who get off the bike noticeably more relaxed.
