Test: The model range of the Hessian cult manufacturer Storck is filled with exclusive bikes. With the Visioner C Markus Storck would now like to give carbon beginners a taste.

The Storck Visioner C seems rather conventional at first glance. We were allowed to find out what is hidden behind the facade.

equipment and practice

Our test model in size 54 comes with a complete Shimano Ultegra 6800 equipped. In addition, there is a robust one Ksyrium team-Wheelset by Mavic and in-house components such as the handlebar-stem combination and the Monolink seatpost. On this one is enthroned SLS- Saddle by Selle Italia. The bike is definitely well equipped for its price of 2.500 euros.

The frame also leaves a good impression. It has a rather classic, simple shape, but is very stiff and light. In addition, it guides the trains inside and thus ensures a tidy look. With a PressFit bottom bracket and the option to also mount electronic shifters, it is also contemporary. With the Proportional tubing, in which the tube strengths vary depending on the frame size, Storck does not show any weaknesses.

In use, the relatively light racer, weighing in at 7,6 kilograms, is lively. It can be done just as you are used to from other Storck cars Visioner C get up to speed quickly. The smooth-running bike is not only stiff, but also manoeuvrable at the front. It masters even tighter curves with flying colours.

The seating position is also remarkable. Due to the rather flat front, you sit sportily on the bike, always with the urge to let it run. However, the only point of criticism is hidden in this position, which fits perfectly with the stiff frame. Because in terms of comfort, it has Visioner C still need to catch up. Subdued driving pleasure is something else.

Conclusion

The Storck Visioner C is a solidly equipped racing bike that can offer both maneuverability and smoothness at the same time. Sporty drivers will find what they are looking for here. However, comfort-oriented racers might have some problems with the stiff and hard frame.
