Product news: A2B Entz: E-bike in cooperation with Continental

July 21, 2014 by the editorial office

A2B_Denz

Market: The e-bike manufacturer A2B presents with the entz the first bike with the Conti® E-Bike System from Continental. The advantage: all components of the drive system come from a single source. It combines design, technology and innovation and is available in two versions, either standard or deluxe.

The special Conti® e-bike system is small, light and powerful and provides optimally coordinated know-how from a single source. The motor is integrated directly into the frame and weighs only 3,4 kg. The system should switch on very harmoniously and make the journey much more comfortable. The complete drive system consists of a central motor, display, control unit, charger and battery. Through the entire development at Continental, all parts are optimally matched to each other and guarantee smooth interaction. The 36 volt battery is also available in two types, either 11,25 or 14,5 amp hours, and fully charges in 2,5 hours.

The ASB entz was born out of the desire to expand the A2B product range with a luxurious model with a low entry. The bike combines optimal pedal support with a smooth riding experience and an attractive appearance. It is available as a standard or deluxe version. Both models were designed and built in Germany. The standard version has a manual transmission, while the deluxe version has the integrated NuVinci Harmony AutomaticHub gives the driver the choice between automatic or manual shifting. Thanks to the 250 watt mid-motor used, the Entz has a lower center of gravity and a very good balance. With the mid-engine, the drive is located directly behind the bottom bracket, which results in direct power transmission to the rear wheel and thus a very natural riding experience.

The backlit display on the handlebar shows speed, distance, range, power and battery level. With a range of up to 100 km and a maximum supported speed of 25 km/h, a relaxed ride is guaranteed.
