Extreme sports: In early August, Mike Cotty, who crossed the French Alps in just one day in 2013, takes on a new challenge with the help of Mavic. He will try to conquer the Dolomites, Eastern Alps and Swiss Alps without a break.
This longest and toughest tour of Mike Cotty will start on August 4th at 13:00 and can be followed live via Twitter, Facebook or GPS tracking. The route, which is more than 1000 kilometers long, takes Cotty from Conegliano in Italy to Chamonix in France. He will climb 21 mountains, including legendary passes such as Passo di Giau, Stelvio, Gavia, Bernina, Splugen, San Bernadino or Gotthart Pass, and unbelievable 23.000 meters of altitude overcome.
Mike Cotty comments on what he sees as the ultimate challenge in his blog. He's looking forward to pushing his limits again. For Cotty, such a challenge is a metaphor for life itself, because despite hard training, great sacrifice and good preparation, you never know where and when your psychological and physical limits will hit you. For Mike Cotty, this is what makes his increasingly demanding challenges so appealing.
