Product news: Rock Shox damper with a special mount for Trek and Specialized

July 8, 2014 by the editorial office

rockshox5

Market: Rock Shox now offers the current DebonAir models Monarch and Monarch Plus for selected Specialized and Trek frames. With adapted damper mounts, configurations and tunes, the end user is offered greater set-up options.

In the past, Specialized and Trek often used specially developed damper mounts, which were usually only suitable for one damper model. To offer the consumer greater variety, Rock Shox has now adapted the Monarch and Monarch Plus to select Trek and Specialized frames. Compatibility was not the only consideration. The damper configuration and the tune of the respective dampers have also been optimized for the frame properties.
