Product news: S-Works McLaren Tarmac: Exclusive, individual and fast

Market: Specialized has landed a new hit together with McLaren: The S-Works McLaren Tarmac is much more than just a bike. It is the expression of an unprecedented collaboration in terms of technology and innovation. This bike should be the epitome of a custom-fit riding experience and, according to Specialized, claim absolute perfection. With the exclusive development work together with McLaren and the attention to detail that is shown, not too high a claim.

Built on the new driver-first engineered platform of the tarmac Specialized and McLaren have combined their know-how to create the perfect driving experience. Utilizing McLaren's vast carbon expertise embodied in the S-Works Tarmac McLaren Incorporated into the frame and fork, new, unique carbon fiber layouts have been developed, resulting in a (up to) XNUMX percent weight saving over the standard S-Works tarmac have led.

This carbon layup promises absolute performance with maximum weight savings and so all components should benefit from it in addition to the frame, the crankset, the customized AeroFly handlebar and the CLX40 tubular tires. Completing the package is a custom color scheme - co-developed with McLaren and painted at the exclusive McLaren Special Operations Center in Woking, Surrey UK. The $1.200.000 McLaren P1 supercar is also painted here.

Worldwide there will only be 250 S-Works McLaren Tarmacs give Each of the heavily limited bikes comes with a pair of bespoke S-Works Road shoes and an S-Works Prevail helmet - both painted to match the frame's design. In addition, each S-Works Tarmac McLaren is customized to the driver's specific specifications - based on the Body Geometry Fit Advice included in the scope of delivery. This turns the bike into a really personal experience - which you can also hang in the living room thanks to the wall bracket.

  • CeramicSpeed ​​coated bearings for reduced rolling resistance
  • Second CLX40 training wheelset included

Finish

  • Specially made colors Tarmac Black and Papaya Spark, which are used exclusively in the S-Works McLaren Tarmac collection

  • Included are S-Works Road shoes in the same color design as well as the corresponding S-Works Prevail helmet - of course in your individual size. This exclusive design is only in the S-Works McLaren Tarmac package available
  • With the specially designed for the S-Works McLaren Tarmac developed wall display, bike, shoes and helmet are elegantly tidied away
