cycling: Tour de France: Marcel Kittel and André Greipel in conversation

July 9, 2014 by the editorial office

Cycling: The results after the first four days could not be more different. Marcel Kittel (Giant-Shimano) has so far taken every chance the sprinters have had. The German champion André Greipel (Lotto Belisol) has only partially come close to the podium.

This spurred Lotto Belisol's team manager, Marc Sergeant, to say that Greipel was afraid of staying fully clean in the sprint. However, he also stated that Kittel was by far the strongest sprinter at the moment.

Be that as it may, the Tour is still long and there are still a few chances of a sprint final. The most prestigious is the one on the Champs Elysées in Paris. Who will win this? André Greipel and Marcel Kittel have already exchanged views on this.
