In Italy, people know what it means to do a three-week national tour. 3.000 kilometers in less than a month is a statement. With Vincenzo Nibali (Astana) at the Tour de France and Nairo Quintana (Movistar) at the Giro d'Italia as a recent backdrop, the Italians are now inviting loyal fans to live the Grand Tour experience - and to do so via Strava.
What do you have to do to take part in the challenge? Simply. All you have to do is register at www.strava.com and then select the URL http://www.strava.com/challenges. Here you have to “Campagnolo Grande Giro Challenge” and then complete at least 1.000 kilometers within one month.
