Product news: Eurobike #3: Innovations, impressions and more

Eurobike: The second day of the fair is over and it was another day full of innovations. The B halls of the Eurobike offer a wide variety of different components and genres. 

Hall B1

Cube shows its full potential again this year. The Waldershofer stand offers only the best for ambitious racing cyclists, aggressive enduro riders, but also for the little ones among us.

The highlights are undoubtedly the new Enduro models of the stereo. The Stereo 140 Super HPC Race 27.5 convinces with a beautiful carbon frame and equipment that leaves nothing to be desired. Also on display is Nico Lau's Enduro, which helped him win the Enduro World Series in Tweedlove, Scotland.

The Californians from Santa Cruz celebrated an impressive and extremely exciting World Cup season together with Josh Bryceland. The young Briton clinched the overall World Cup victory in downhill last weekend and so his prototype of the V10 not missing.

Next to the V10 Santa Cruz's Enduro and Trail models shine with bolides. Next to the Nomad it says that Bronson C and models from the subsidiary Juliana, which focus on women-specific trail bikes.

The smell of fresh rubber dominates the air in Hall B1. Continental is ready with a large stand and will be presenting some exciting prototypes in addition to new and revised models.

So will the new one Baron 2.4 project presented, which should become the new secret weapon for the enduro area and is currently being extensively tested by team riders such as Dan Atherton and Martin Maes. Also on show is a tire that has been developed with the slopestyle aces, but which, judging by the profile, could also be perfect for XC use.

The big M of the Italians illuminates the novelties of the coming season. Marzocchi is launching a new fork and damper for demanding enduro use.

So far, the spring elements have only been seen on team riders and are particularly noticeable due to the special coating of the immersion tubes, which is supposed to bring the best gliding properties. Also new is an XC suspension fork weighing almost 1,5 kilograms, whose crown and steerer tube are made of a carbon unit.

Cratoni has an impressive range of helmets for every area of ​​cycling. In addition to well thought-out helmets for urban use, innovations for MTB and racing bikes are also on display.

For the terrain, the new one is shown for the first time all tracks, which is offered in many different colors and with special features, such as a multifunctional camera fixation with safety release, a height-adjustable visor with step lock and extra storage space for cross-goggles.



DVO Suspension – B2 404

The makers of DVO Suspension, even if it is still a very young brand, are no strangers. Former Marzocchi engineers quickly set out on a journey to develop their own spring elements and have been causing a stir ever since. The products not only catch the eye with their bright colors, their features and implementation also set standards.

In addition to the enduro of Cedric Gracia, who represents DVO as a team rider and is significantly involved in the development of the products, the new one is shown for the first time Diamond-Suspension fork.

The French brand Look has been successfully represented on the track and on the road for many years. Next to the updated wheels for the coming year, see the look 795 daylight for the first time.

As one of the leading manufacturers in the high-end segment, Giant is showing a variety of innovations. In addition to the new Enduro models, the new Defy Advanced SL presented, which will attack together with Marcel Kittel on the street in the coming year.

Liv also has some novelties to offer. The successful XC duo Jolanda Neff and Pauline Ferrand-Prevot presented the new bikes for the 2015 season together with Marianne Vos. There are specific bikes for women for both on-road and off-road.
