Market: Sram presents the new rise 60 Wheelset for Cross Country use.
New hubs, new rims - based on years of matured know-how from the World Cup, Sram presents the new rise 60 Wheelset for relentless XC use. These should set new standards, because they should not only be lighter, stiffer and faster than the competition. When it comes to reliability, you want to play in the top league with the Rise 60.

The completely redesigned hub comes with an exciting and yet quite simple idea. Four pawls ensure precise and fast power transmission. To date, these could hook into 26 small "pockets" and transfer the force. This is also changing with the new Sram rise 60 nothing, but the pawls are now positioned so that only two of them engage at a time. They are therefore arranged asymmetrically, so that there is a rotation angle of just 6,9 degrees before the next pawl engages.
A new development in the hub body is also used on the front wheel, which is primarily intended to ensure more precise steering manoeuvres. With the Torque Tube you want to achieve a much higher rigidity without having gained weight. This can also be easily replaced and is compatible with all axle standards.
The carbon rims of the wheels also have an asymmetry. In this way, the forces should be absorbed better and a spoke length can be installed, which brings with it a considerable service advantage. The 21 millimeter wide rim does not have any rim beads and should therefore not only be lighter but also more stable than its predecessors.
The tubeless clincher wheels are compatible with all common freewheels and so you can use both 10-speed and 11-speed drives. They are available in 27.5 and 29 inches.
