Cycling: Last weekend, with the fourth stop of the Superenduro Pro Series, the season finale of one of the most established enduro series in Europe was on the agenda. Marco Milivinti and Louise Paulin's dominance did not materialize in Sauze d'Oulx either and both ended as they began the season: with a win.
The high-altitude region of Val Susa is known as an alpine ski mecca. In summer you can also explore the area perfectly on a mountain bike. For this reason, the Superernduro Pro Series stopped here last weekend. Thanks to the existing lifts, the organizers were able to prepare eight stages for the race, which should give the drivers more than 5500 negative meters in altitude.
The series ended as it began at the beginning of April: Marco Milivinti and Louise Paulin dominated this year and were also able to secure victory in Sauze d'Oulx.
Milivinti drove a very cautious tactic. Although he was able to win the race at the end of the two days, he did not set a best time on any of the eight stages. With a constant performance, he was always able to place himself among the front ranks without taking too many risks. Meanwhile, Greg Callaghan was able to keep everything together and left his Italian competition behind for the first time. Although he had to admit defeat to Milivinti, the Irishman prevailed against several top-class drivers. After two exciting days, he defeated Nicola Casadei in third place. Samuel Shucksmith followed in fourth, Alex Lupato in fifth.

In the women's category, Louise Paulin once again left no stone unturned. She already had the overall victory in her pocket before the race in Sauze d'Oulx and was accordingly relaxed on the stages. But that doesn't seem to be the fast Swede's style. Only the New Zealander Gabby Molloy could be dangerous to her. However, she crashed and lost valuable time. Victory thus went to Paulin followed by Molloy and Katy Winton.
