cycling: GGEW City Cross-Cup Lorsch: The Cross-EM can come

Cycling: The Cross-EM will be held in Germany this year. As part of the GGEW City Cross-Cup in Lorsch, the best drivers in Europe will then compete against each other.

In the women's, juniors, masters and U23 men's and women's classes, the new title holders will be sought on November 8th from 10.15:XNUMX am.

"The hot phase has begun", says organizer Algis Oleknavicius. “In Belgium, such races are true folk festivals. We can only dream of such opportunities in Germany, but Lorsch is an address that the top drivers have firmly marked in their calendars. We are working hard to be able to increase the value in Germany even more.”

For this reason, the organizers are once again luring the elite drivers to the Carolingian town in addition to the EM starters. France's Francis Mourey (FDJ.fr) won the C1 race last year. This time, however, the eyes of the spectators will fall on the German champion Philipp Walsleben (BKCP-Powerplus). It is not yet clear against whom the Kleinmachnower will compete in the end. Organizationally, everything is currently going according to plan, Oleknavicius is in negotiations with well-known cross riders.
