Cycling: This year's season is slowly but surely coming to an end and there are already new race dates for the coming season. The European Enduro Series is expanding its program and will start in 2015 with six races.
The first season of the European Enduro Series was a great success. With many different races and a diverse field of riders, the series has quickly established itself as one of the largest enduro series.
At the last stop in Treuchlingen, Robert Williams was able to just about defend his lead and thus secure the series victory in the Pro Men category. With his sixth place in the daily standings, Ludwig Döhl was able to overtake James Shirley, who finished third. Fourth was Samuel Shucksmith ahead of Markus Reiser.
In the Pro Women, the overall ranking went to Birgit Braumann ahead of Lorraine Truong and this year's high-flyer Raphaela Richter.
