Spectrum: The bicycle climate test of the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC) runs until tomorrow. The survey is being conducted for the sixth time and can look back on an impressive number of participants: over 2012 people took part in the last survey in 80.000. Anyone who has not yet participated this year should hurry up.
Every cyclist, commuter or hobby cyclist knows the problem: Germany's cities are often not particularly bicycle-friendly. Planning problems, traffic bottlenecks or other obstacles often cause frustration on the bike and sometimes pose a serious safety risk. But it is becoming increasingly difficult for cities and communities to turn a blind eye to the bike as a serious urban means of transport, as does Burkhard Stork, Federal Managing Director of the ADFC emphasizes: “The bicycle is booming as a modern urban means of transport. In recent years, many cities have set out to become more bicycle-friendly and therefore more livable. We are curious to see where the commitment to cycling is already bearing fruit and creating a good mood among the citizens – and where not.”
So if you still need to communicate in this regard, you should hurry: The survey will run until tomorrow, November 30.11th. Get to the keys: www. Fahrradklima-test.de
