After the debut in South Korea, the Koblenz-based bike manufacturer Canyon is already opening its second local Asian agency in Japan. From early December, the Kyoto office will provide telephone support to customers.
Canyon has been serving the Japanese market for many years. Up until now, however, direct contact on site was limited to the Japanese language version of the manufacturer's website. From December, Canyon Japan Market Manager Yukikaze Ishiyama and his team will be available to customers as a direct contact. Events and other activities are already being planned.
Numerous guests attended the opening event on November 23rd and 24th in Tokyo. Also present was Spaniard Joaquim “Purito” Rodriguez, the team captain of the Russian ProTeam Katusha. Together with Canyon developer Michael Adomeit, he presented his Aeroad CF SLX to the enthusiastic guests. To the delight of cycling fans, the 2012 and 2013 UCI WorldTour winner signed autographs.
