Cycling: In 2015, the largest racing series for everyone will only consist of eleven races. This means that the popular racing series will be shortened by three races. The number of deletion results is also reduced.
The best nine ratings from all eleven races count for the overall individual rating. So there are only two discarded results at the German Cycling Cup 2015. There will be no more participation points for the deleted results next year. Another change concerns the team rating. The teams can enter any number of drivers for the official ranking.
The GCC racing series kicks off at the end of April with the Tour d'Energie in Göttingen. Also included in the calendar are the Škoda Velotour in Frankfurt and the Schleizer Dreieck race for everyone. The Sparkassen Münsterland Giro is once again the worthy conclusion of the GCC. The three retired races are the Bremen Challenge, the Mecklenburg Giro and the amateur race at the German Elite Championship.
