One of my favorites is without a doubt the Shimano Dura Ace C50. The wheels offer good handling and are very agile in their riding style, which is particularly evident in cross. In addition to the comfortable and stable driving style, I liked the clean processing of the carbon rim. You have the wheels well under control in curves, especially on wet meadows, they also do what they are supposed to do when accelerating and accelerate well, thanks to the high strength of the rim.
The Dura Ace C50 is a good all-rounder, it is easy to control in training and also in the race. But it doesn't just cut a fine figure off-road, because over long distances where you can let the bike roll, it convinces across the board. The Shimano feel stiff, yet not too harsh so you can feel every bump or root. If the choice should fall on such a wheelset, you shouldn't put the weight in the foreground. The wheels from Shimano are priced in the upper range, but that doesn't diminish the quality of these wheels.
