Market: Nobody really expected that. Yesterday, Fox Factory Holding Corp. announced that it had bought the two Canadian brands Race Face and Easton. For the time being, nothing will change in the separate product portfolios - the company headquarters will also remain untouched for the time being. But this may change in the future. The purchase price was the equivalent of around 24 million euros.
This acquisition expands the American company's product range to include components such as cranks, stems, handlebars, and wheels. It's no wonder Fox CEO Larry Enterline is delighted: "We are very happy that the acquisition of Race Face/Easton has gone through and are pleased to welcome them to the Fox family. The deal demonstrates our clear strategy of expanding our product range into related and adjacent areas to improve sales and profits in the long term."
