Market: Monitoring heart rate data is essential for effective and healthy exercise. With the new chest strap from Tacx, this is done wirelessly via both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart. This opens up a wide range of options for performance monitoring for the athlete.
Thanks to the wireless interface ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart, the chest strap can be operated with almost all devices. Heart rate data can be recorded with a sports watch as well as with a smartphone or a Garmin, for example. The use is therefore not limited to the smart exercise bikes from Tacx. This makes the chest strap suitable for all indoor and outdoor sporting activities. According to the manufacturer, the water-resistant chest strap offers a safe transmission/reception range of 10 meters. Version 4.0 or higher is required for connection via Bluetooth. With a specially developed receiver, however, operation with other Bluetooth versions is also possible. The chest strap including the battery is available for EUR 59,90.
