Cycling: Manuel Schatz from Thuringia is starting the new season as a new addition to the Rose Vaujany fueled by ultraSPORTS team. Coming from downhill, he will concentrate as much as possible on the enduro discipline and compete in national as well as international races.
At the beginning of the year, the Rose Vaujany fueled by ultraSPORTS team is complete. After securing the World Cup winner Nathalie Schneitter, the team has now been expanded to include Manuel Schatz and is therefore complete. Schatz originally comes from downhill and will focus on enduro in 2015. The team with Simon Gegenheimer and David Schmied already proved their enduro skills at the Enduro DM 2014. Although they don't ride enduro as their main discipline, both were able to achieve a top 10 result and caused some long faces in the scene. Schatz is now to represent the team in Enduro. As a newcomer to professional sports, he enjoys the same advantages as his teammates and has already been to the Alps for altitude training in recent weeks.
“I am extremely grateful for my chance and I was really warmly welcomed into my new surroundings. Everything is new for me at the moment and every day offers many surprises. At the moment, all of these impressions are still phenomenally great, even the painful ones like the sore muscles.", so darling.
