Cycling: Matti Lehikoinen is undoubtedly one of the most tragic characters in the downhill scene. The Finn has suffered a number of serious injuries in his career and has always been able to fight back. After a longer break he now wants to attack at the Enduro World Series.
Matti Lehikoinen had been very quiet for a while. A knee injury took the Finn out of the race almost two years ago and didn't let him get involved in downhill events anymore. After a lengthy hiatus, he took on the role of coach for the Norwegian national downhill team last year and was spotted back on the bike by the end of the year. At the Enduro World Series in Finale Ligure, he promptly impressed with a 22nd place.
This season he wants to continue there and, in addition to his work as a trainer, will increasingly take part in the EWS races. He is supported by Nukeproof and Mavic.
