Cycling: The organizers are satisfied after the successful comeback of the cross race in Albstadt. In front of a beautiful crowd of spectators, Swiss Ralph Näf was able to confidently win the Challenge Cyclo Cross Race powered by Centurion.
With a flawless performance, the MTB specialist once again demonstrated his skills on two wheels. Five days before the Swiss championship, the man from Thurgau used the race in Albstadt for direct preparation. After a quick start by Severin Schweisguth, Näf took the lead and almost permanently increased his lead from lap to lap. Despite a fall and the resulting wheel change, Julian Schelb came in second. Maximilian Holz finished third. In the women's category, Jasmin Rebmann was the unrivaled winner in the truest sense of the word. After the competitors canceled due to illness, she was the only starter in the elite class women.
Following the success of the event, the Challenge Cyclo Cross Race is scheduled to be held again next year.
