Cycling: The German cycling team Giant-Alpecin has announced the squads for the race in Murcia (Spain) and the Tour of Oman. The squads are led by Degenkolb and Barguil.
For the race in Spain on February 14, seven riders will start for the Giant-Alpecin team. The squad is led by John Degenkolb, the second German driver is Johannes Fröhlinger in the squad for the Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia. Last year Alejandro Valverde Belmonte from Team Movistar won the race in front of a home crowd.
The eight-man squad for the Tour of Oman is led by Frenchman Warren Barguil. Also in the squad for Oman is Germany's Nikias Arndt, who won silver at the 2014 German Time Trial Championships. The Tour of Oman will be held from February 17th to 22nd. In 2014, Brit Chris Froome, who started for Team Sky ProCycling, won the stage race.
