cycling. With newcomer Tomas Lemoine, the motto for the Canyon Factory Freeride Team is: Four wins! The 18-year-old Frenchman from Marseille, who gained his first experiences in BMX racing as a small child, will start in 2015 on the Canyon Stitched or Torque DHX.
Tomas brings a breath of fresh air to the team and to the scene. He is already good friends with the other team riders Peter Henke, Anton Thelander and Thomas Genon and they have experienced one or the other event together. From now on the guys are even officially a crew. This means that Tomas has the best prerequisites for finding his place in the FMB World Tour ranking. His technically demanding tricks and his feel for the bike result in a total package that you won't find in any other eighteen-year-old in Europe.
“Of course we always keep an eye on talented young drivers. Tomas simply convinced us with his skills and his style. Its development over the last two years is extremely impressive and with the right support it can do even more. We couldn't help but get him into our freeride team. The last decisive argument was his zebra pants at the Munich Mash 2014., said team manager Flo Goral with a laugh to his newest protégé.
So it should be clear: Tomas fits perfectly into the team and all four drivers are even more motivated to step on the gas. Tomas is also enthusiastic about it and is looking forward to the coming season:
“I'm really happy and proud to ride for the Canyon Factory Freeride Team. Canyon is a company with good products, good parts and the right geometries. You don't find that often. That is what I have been waiting for. Also, the team is awesome. I'm happy like a little kid to be a part of it now. I hope that we will work together for a long time!”
2015 is going to be a big year and I want to have lots of fun on my stitched. I hope to get through the season unhurt and show my new tricks. I will try to compete in all FMB Gold and Diamond events. I want to train a lot and consolidate my name in the scene. Of course, videos, photos and web edits are also part of this year.”
