Market: At the end of next month, from March 20th to 22nd, 2015, the capital will attract visitors with what is probably the most popular lifestyle bicycle fair in the world. The Berlin Bicycle Show in the Berlin am Gleisdreieck station offers an absolute highlight for every urban two-wheeler enthusiast. In addition to well-known exhibitors such as Specialized, Giant and Canyon, there are many events for young and old. We are giving away two weekend tickets worth €25 each – details of the competition can be found at the end of the article.
The Berlin Bicycle Show is entering its sixth year this year and is part of the Berlin Bicycle Week, which is celebrating its premiere this year and uniting a number of events under one roof. The latest innovations, the most original bikes, functional clothing and accessories, as well as numerous events are presented at the Berlin Bicycle Show on 15 square meters. Start-ups and big names in the industry provide information and inspire enthusiasm in five exhibition areas: Ambition, Urban Lifestyle, Handmade, Travel & Train Velo Couture and E-Mobilty.

Preparations are currently in full swing and the BFS can already announce a long list of well-known exhibitors such as Canyon, Specialized, Cannondale, Giant, Felt and Colnago. Of course, Cinelli and Brooks England, who have been at the fair since the beginning of the day, will also be there again.
You can also look forward to the latest innovations from Enve, Tune, Crema Cycles and Ritte Cycles as well as Schindelhauer Bikes, 8bar and Retrovelo.
Different disciplines come together in the event area to inspire the audience - 4X races on the overwhelming indoor track impress with curves and jumps, freestyle acrobatics at the BMX Flatland Show encourages you to try them out in the subsequent workshop, plus there are cyclocross races in the courtyard, gold sprints and much more.
Berlin Bicycle Week events
SPECIALIZED 24 HOUR RECORD ATTEMPT
On Friday, March 20th at 15pm, Christoph Strasser will try to break the 24-hour world record on the circuit of the Tempelhofer Freiheit. For this he has to reach an average speed of 24 km/h for 37,5 hours and will cover a distance of 900km! During the record attempt, spectators have the opportunity to try out the latest Specialized bikes, accompany Christoph for a bit and compete with him.
JUNKYARD CYCLOCROSS, RAD RACE BATTLE, + FOLDING BIKE WM
In the floodlights behind the STATION Berlin, the riders will be driven through a cyclocross course on Friday evening that is made up of many unique obstacles. Here it is important to navigate and deliver hot races. This also includes the exciting folding bike world championships. In the meantime, the Fixed Days with the Rad Race Battle are taking place right next to it. Registrations for the races can be made here.
STRAVA KING OF THE AIRFIELD
Berlin Bicycle Week and Strava invite you to the ITT event called Tempelhofer Time Trial on March 21 from 9 a.m. to 15 p.m. This unique event is part of the Bicycle Week Series and powered by Strava. The aim is to drive specified routes on time and to climb the Strava ranking list.
WHEEL RACE
On Friday evening at 20 p.m. on the go-kart track in Neukölln, the Rad Race (only for Fixed Gear) will be repeated as part of the Fixed Days 2015. Inspired by the bike courier scene, the fixed gear racing scene is growing and boasting many international races such as the Red Hook Crit will once again wow the crowds.
