Cycling: The Maloja Pushbikers team was able to successfully defend the title of the important British track racing series "Revolution Cycling Series". Grasmann and Lampater, who competed at the Bendigo Madison a week earlier, started at the last event in Manchester.
The Revolution Cycling Series consists of six events in total. After the fifth edition, the Maloja Pushbikers team had a considerable lead of 18 points, which they had to defend in Manchester. Christian Grasmann and Leif Lampater did justice to this task. The strongest driver of the final event was the Australian Alex Edmondson from the Orica Greenedga team, but Lampater was still able to impress with his extremely strong condition. The 32-year-old finished on the podium in all competitions in Manchester. In the team competitions, Lampater started with his teammate Grasmann. The overall victory of the Revolution Cycling Series results from the many individual successes of the track team. The drivers Nico Heßlich, Marcel Kalz, Stefan Mastaller, guest driver Bobby Lea and the departure Andreas Graf scored decisive points in the first five runs.
